About me
I am a UKCP-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with an MSc in Person-Centred Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute. As well as person-centred theory, my therapy practice is deeply informed by neuroscience and mindfulness, and influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and somatic experiencing. I offer a non-judgmental presence where we can look clearly at what is happening, understand the underlying patterns of your mind, and work toward genuine self-acceptance.
Having been a therapy client myself for many years, I know firsthand what it is like to sit in that chair and how much courage it takes to open up to someone new. Because of my own extensive self-development and training, I am entirely comfortable sitting alongside you in deep, complex, and difficult psychological states.
Before qualifying as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I spent two decades working in design and technology. I deeply understand the unique rhythms and the intense, fast-paced demands of these environments. As a neurodivergent immigrant, I also know how exhausting it can be to constantly adapt, perform, and mask your true self in spaces that don't always accommodate the way your mind works.
I believe that true wellbeing begins when you can finally step away from external expectations. Whether you are navigating difficult emotions, processing the profound impact of a life transition, or exploring your identity, I offer a collaborative, respectful environment where you can unpack your thoughts safely, at your own pace, and entirely on your own terms.
Professional Standards & Qualifications
Your safety and wellbeing are at the centre of my practice. As a registered member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy), I practice in strict accordance with their ethical framework. This means our work together is fully insured, regularly supervised by a senior practitioner, and grounded in continuous professional development.
