Recover from Burnout. Therapy for Analytical Minds.

Counselling and psychotherapy for developers, designers, PMs and founders, from a therapist who spent 20 years in the industry before this one.

You're good at your job. That's part of the problem.

  • You can't remember the last time you finished a day and actually felt done

  • Weekends are for recovering from the week, not living your life

  • You're constantly context-switching, and your brain never fully lands anywhere

  • You've started dreading Slack notifications, or standups, or your inbox

  • You know logically that you're doing fine, but you don't feel fine, and you can't think your way out of it

Burnout doesn't always look like collapse. Often it looks like this: still performing, still delivering, quietly running on empty.

You know the signs

Why work with me

Before I trained as a psychotherapist, I spent two decades working in design and technology. I know what it's like to be in back-to-back meetings, to be evaluated on output, to be expected to be "always on", and I know how exhausting it is when the pace of the industry doesn't match the pace your mind or body actually needs.

I'm a UKCP-accredited counsellor with an MSc in Person-Centred Psychotherapy, and my practice is informed by neuroscience, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. Many of the people I work with are neurodivergent, and many work in tech or creative industries. This isn't a niche I picked for marketing; it's the population I understand from the inside.

You won't need to explain what a sprint is. You won't need to justify why your job is stressful. We can get straight to what's actually going on underneath it.

How it works

  • Free 15-minute call: A short, no-obligation conversation to see if we're a good fit. This isn't a sales call; it's a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.

  • Weekly sessions: 50 minutes, £60 per session, online or in person in Brighton & Hove, at a pace that's collaborative rather than prescriptive.

  • No fixed plan: This isn't a 6-week burnout "treatment." We go at the pace that's right for you, for as long as it's useful.
